01 / About me

Research with
a wider lens.

I am an academic and researcher at Université Internationale de Casablanca. My work brings together banking stability, financial inclusion, development economics, and geopolitical risk, with a particular interest in emerging markets.

I completed my PhD in Economics and Management Sciences in 2024, jointly supervised by Professor Jamal Ouenniche at the University of Edinburgh Business School and Professor Khalid El Badraoui at ENCG Business School, University of Ibn Zohr.

My research combines efficiency analysis and panel econometrics with news-based measurement. I also develop open research infrastructure, including daily geopolitical-risk indices designed to make regional evidence more accessible.
